NaPoMo Submissions Open Now!

Submissions are open NOW through October 15th for our 2027 NaPoMo issue! You can submit via our Submittable link here. Each spring, our NaPoMo Issue has brought together new voices and established poets in a full-color digital edition paired with original artwork.
Poets may submit up to five poems in one file for consideration using our Submittable form. The entry fee is $18 and includes a year's subscription to our print issues. We will also accept 25 fee-free submissions intended only for poets who could not otherwise afford to enter the contest on September 15th, beginning at 8 a.m. Central Time.
Judge Geffrey Davis will select the ten best submissions, one winner and nine finalists, for publication in our digital issue, which will be available for free to all readers via ISSUU. The winner will receive $1,000. Two runners-up will receive $150 and $100, and the remaining finalists will receive $50. You can find previous winners, finalists, and semi-finalists and more information about the contest here.
We'll announce the semi-finalists, finalists, and winner in December of this year. Until then, please send us your best poems, from the projects you've been working on for years to the gems you wrote over the summer. Please note that in order to give all the poems the attention they deserve, we can only accept up to 225 submissions this period. So, we recommend submitting sooner rather than later.
We look forward to reading your work!
