2018 Chapbook Winner!


Iron Horse Literary Review is pleased to announce that Tyehimba Jess has selected Jed Myers's Dark's Channels as the 2018 IHLR Chapbook Winner! About Jed's chapbook, Tyehimba said he was taken with the great imagery and the arresting angles of light and shadow.

We are thrilled to publish Jed's chapbook and look forward to its release in October 2018.

Jed Myers lives in Seattle. He is the author of Watching the Perseids (Sacramento Poetry Center Book Award), The Marriage of Space and Time (MoonPath Press, forthcoming), and two previous chapbooks. Recent honors include the Prime Number Magazine Award for Poetry, The Southeast Review's Gearhart Poetry Prize, and The Tishman Review's Edna St. Vincent Millay Poetry Prize. Recent poems can be found in Rattle, Poetry Northwest, Southern Poetry Review, The Greensboro Review, Terrain.org, Valparaiso Poetry Review, Solstice, Canary, and elsewhere. He is Poetry Editor for the journal Bracken.

IHLR will accept submissions for the 2019 Chapbook Issue (Prose): January 1 through March 1, 2019. The free submission day will be February 22. Stay tuned for more details!
